A cake fit for a murder mystery!

A bit of fun last night, we were invited along to a very special 1920s themed murder mystery night at our friends place. Not only solving a tricky murder, we also got to enjoy good food (and wine!) with some of our closest friends. We were in charge of dessert (of course!) and designed and themed this very special 1920s red velvet cake for all to share. It almost looked too good to eat and I was almost inclined to wear it as a hat! But instead I opted for another creation of mine, this one done rather with a needle and thread :)
All in character, we sported new names, mine being ‘Pearl E. Whites’ and Matt, ’Justin Time’. There were headpieces, fishnets and feathers a plenty worn by the girls, and a few dodgy looking moustaches and hats being boasted by the boys. All in all a good night with our fellow ‘gang’ member ‘Ruth Less’ going down for the murder!

Highly recommend one of these parties.
Happy weekend everyone x
